Can I get a "regular" cleaning before a deep cleaning?

Unfortunately, that's not recommended. Gum disease is a serious issue, and a regular cleaning wouldn't be very effective for it. In some cases, we might do a "debridement" cleaning first to prep you for your deep cleaning appointment, but it's best to chat with us about your specific needs

How long does a typical appointment take?

It depends on what you're coming in for! A standard cleaning with an exam and X-rays takes about an hour for returning patients and an hour and a half for new ones. Deep cleanings typically require a separate appointment and can last anywhere from 1 to 3 hours depending on the severity of the case.
